3D!

Ok, not really, but wouldn't that be neat?

Some hot(bright), afternoon light vs. fading, evening light.

Haha, ok that was painful, I know.  Too far apart, I think.  I'll work on it.
(I bet somebody somewhere has a technique for doing this really well)

Duck!

I met a duck. We were friends.

Invasion!

"The thing with studying invasive species is it's exciting to find them, but then not exciting as well because you really don't want them here"

Stitching

Wish I had more sky, or more ground, or a polarizing filter...
Anyhow, while we're in photoshop, who can resist inverting?

Honey

A bit of a technology setback in the workflow-I think something's wrong with my motherboard.  Who loooves RMAs? (not this guy).  Anyhow, on my old laptop now, which means the processing went back about 4 years in time while the camera finally caught up 4 years.  We'll start here again with a crawl.

The First of Many

Well, it's been a buuuuusy couple of weeks.  I won't bore you with too many details, but feel free to ask; we'll catch up!  Of note in my photo-taking life - I sold my dear, old Canon 30D for an upgrade. :D

Hopefully this transitional time will afford me some opportunities to break it in, because, honestly, there are a lot of new buttons on this thing...  Haha.  Learn how to use it, aaaand get around to posting things.  I'm still kind of hesitant to post anything before I really know how to use it, but here are some of the first shots I took.  Things seem quicker and easier, that's for sure.  Here's to things to come - photo-wise and life-wise!
Look out, real world.
